Chili in a Jar
Yo. Yo. While my site is going through the update and while Thrive decides when they are going to post the video, I typed your faces a quick n’ dirty of “Chili in a Jar, A General Guide”. Be excited, you see all my food photos that I prepare for my celebrity clients?
They’re all getting “A General Guide” aka recipes for the new website.
Maybe even some videos.
Why do I call them a general guide?
Because my palate is different than your palate, and you should adjust.
Because real ingredients vary in consistency when not injected with weird shit, and you should adjust.
What you’ll need:
1/2 lb ground beef
1/2 lb ground pork
1/2 medium sized yellow onion, diced
2 tomatoes, diced
1 garlic clove, minced
1 plum, or other seasonal fruit
1 tsp chipotle seasoning
1 tsp nutmeg
1 tsp cinnamon
1 tsp chives
1 can/jar tomato paste
1 tbsp coconut aminos
1/4 cup primal kitchen foods mayo
grass fed cheddar, cubed
bacon, for garnish
green onions, for garnish
salt/pepper
ghee
What to do:
In a large pot, over medium-high heat drop a spoonful of ghee
Add diced onions, allowing them to brown
Add garlic, tomatoes and fruit, allowing the tomatoes/fruit to soften
Add all the seasoning, stirring consistently, evenly coating everything in the pot
Add the ground meats, and with a large metal spoon or potato masher, break apart the meat, keeping everything evenly coated.
If it looks a little dry, add another spoonful of ghee
Turn up the heat for the purpose of browning the meat
Add the tomato paste & coconut aminos, mixing it all very well
Turn off your stove top and turn on your oven, pre-heating it to 350 degrees
Mix in Primal Kitchen Foods Mayo evenly
Add salt and pepper to taste
Fill up up mason jars the chili, just below the top
Add your cubed grass fed cheese, sprinkle with some chipotle
Place your mason jars on a cookie tray and place them (carefully) into the oven, top rack
Once the cheese melts, you can turn up the oven to broil, WATCHING IT CLOSELY to brown the top layer of the cheese
Remove (CAREFULLY) from the oven
Garnish with chopped bacon and chopped green onions, carefully! #hotjar
Let jar cool. EAT YOUR FACE OFF!
