Freedom to have Freedom
Rain gazing on my balcony, sipping on a custom “Mary Blend” from @foursigmatic. Fungi-Friendship perks. I ain’t complaining. ? Don’t know much about shrooms? Well, they’re launching a free mushroom academy in February which I am nerded-out-excited to do so I can learn more too.

Lots to accomplish today, a few appointments, and I’m taking my sweet time, still in sweats. ? I measure joy by my ability to do what I want, when I want. Of course that freedom comes with a price of admission.

Everyone loves the benefits of freedom, but only successful individuals embrace the responsibility that comes with it.
_
You know what’s great about freedom? Power to do anything you want, in any situation, at any given moment. But with great power, comes great responsibility – so it’s no wonder that people will divert to “comfortable” and “safe” choices in their daily lives to shirk the responsibility and accountability that comes with freedom. While the path of least resistance may be efficient, it breeds complacency, which leads to atrophy —mentally, physically and emotionally.

The beauty in freedom is that nothing is set in stone so even the smallest shifts and changes can usher in huge gains. You have the freedom to start making better decisions at any moment. Which means you don’t have to beat yourself up about past mistakes. And yes, even small changes can make a HUGE difference if done consistently over time.
_
But be careful because…You have the freedom to stop making good decisions at any moment too. So don’t take your hard work or success for granted. It’s amazing how quickly and easily you can destroy hard work.
_
And finally, remember that You have the freedom to enjoy your success. So don’t feel guilty about enjoying your hard work and feeling proud of yourself. People around you may make excuses for themselves and try to belittle your growth by crediting “luck,” but you and I will know the truth. And that’s all that matters. ? #eatplaycrush
